Can In-Line filters are filters designed to be placed in air extraction pipes.
They have openings on both sides so that connections can be made between several filters in rooms that require strong odour extraction. The longer the filter duct, the longer the air stays in the air and the better the odours are removed.
The body of these carbon filters is made of stainless steel, which makes them more resistant. The minimum duration of these filters is 18 months, so it is advisable to use them during flowering only.
They are available with different openings so you can choose the one that suits your extraction ducts. To ensure proper operation you should use a filter that is more powerful than your extractor. Remember that it is also possible to connect several filters in line, if you need more power.
*In the summary table you can quickly see the relationship between the diameter of the mouth and the flow rate of all the models available.
To guarantee good results and complete odour elimination, the filters must be placed after the extractor, connected with a flexible or soundproof tube.
It is advisable to use a fairly long tube to increase the air flow, so that the air passes more slowly.
A single filter can also be used for several extractors, so that you can use the same filter for different rooms or conservatories next to each other. To do this, connect them together by means of a metal T- or y-joint. Remember to add up the power of the two extractors if you only use one filter.
