ARS-2 Air Conditioner Controller Trolmaster

The ARS-2 is the next-generation universal IR AC controller designed for seamless integration with Hydro-X, Hydro-X Pro, Tent-X, and Green-X systems (HCS-2, HCS-3, TCS-1, GCS-1).

It functions as a universal infrared (IR) remote for mini-split and compatible window-type AC units, enabling automated Day/Night temperature control.

Compared to the ARS-1 AC Remote Station, the ARS-2:

• Learns and controls temperature values in AUTO, COOL, and HEAT modes

• Is not limited to a single operating mode

• Provides enhanced flexibility and precision

Once connected and configured:

• Learns IR codes from the original AC remote

• Automatically sends Day or Night temperature setpoints based on:

  • Photocell status

  • Temperature sensor data

  • Controller-defined settings

It also allows one period (Day or Night) to be strategically configured so the mini-split remains effectively off, creating an automated idle period without manual adjustments.
